It was such a nice day outside today. Trent took the day off of work, so that was nice to be together. We went on a walk this morning and then over to the park. Then later we went on a bike ride. It feels so good for it to be warm again and to be able to ride bikes.
Tonight we went to a little street fair that our city puts on every month. They give out free hot dogs, cotton candy, drinks, popcorn. There are various vendors selling things.
Cole had a good time. He jumped in one of those bouncy things and ate cotton candy and popcorn. He also got to sit in the fire truck and police car.
It is a fun thing to do as a family. Our church also sets up a booth and so we see friends there too. After we were done, Cole had to go straight into the bath! He was sticky from head to toe.
Trent loves the city of Philadelphia (that is where he served his mission), he is constantly talking about it and dreaming of all the food there (hoagies and cheese steaks). Back in 2004 Trent took me there to see the areas that he served in. I must admit the hoagie I ate in the city was the best I have ever had, nothing will ever compare. When Cole and I go to Utah in May to visit family, Trent is staying home and going to take a road trip to Philly.
As we were getting out of the car tonight Cole says "want to go to Philadelphia and get a hoagie!"
We thought that was pretty funny since Trent is always talking about the place!
