I am not going to lie, there were good moments and then not so good moments. However, I am choosing to remember:
-how Cole has no fear, jumps right in the water and swims in the waves for 4 hours straight
-how Cole hiked up the dune at PJ Hoffmaster beach (it was steep) and laughed the entire way down as we ran holding hands, well... until he face planted it at the bottom
-hearing Cole sing "lightening strikeees" as he was swimming in the waves
-the yummy baked goods across the street from our hotel
-enjoying the day so much on Thursday and for those hours forgetting about the challenges we face.
-Cole and Trent going to the top of the lighthouse at Old Mission Penisula and waving down at me on the beach.
-sitting on the shoreline and letting the waves crash over my legs
-feeling the cool sand on my feet at the beach when we went to see the sunset
-snuggling with Cole in the back seat of the car and him falling asleep on my shoulder
-enjoying the drive up to Old Mission lighthouse. The penisula was so pretty.
-going on a dune ride. Cole LOVED this. He was so happy when we would go over the hills, he would put his hands up in the air and then give Trent and I a big hug afterwards. Seeing his big grin the whole time brought tears to my eyes.
*much thanks to our vacation planner, tour guide, & navigator. We wouldn't experience these great places if it wasn't for you. Love you Trent!
